Michael R. Weissman graduated with honors from the University of Southern California's prestigious Leventhal School of Accounting, and started his professional career at Big 4 accounting firm KPMG. After KPMG, Mike continued on to work for FTI Consulting, one of Fortune Magazine‚ Top 70 Fastest Growing Companies, where he consulted on large U.S. government projects. After substantial exposure to public sector accounting for large corporations, Mike ultimately decided to shift his focus to the private sector, where his career has flourished ever since. By working with small firms and small business owners, Mike has cultivated an in-depth understanding of the many nuances of accounting and tax preparation.
